Fireworks in San Francisco
Last week we went to the New Year's Eve firework show in San Francisco. We were a little late and as we strolled down the Embarcadero, the clock struck 12. Cars started honking, people were yelling 'Happy New Year!' and the fireworks started. Luckily we were almost there and we had a good view (Pier 9).
It's a bit different from the Dutch way of celebrating New Year. Everywhere there's fireworks and a fog of gunpowder smoke will fill the streets.
