Sanban!
I'm taking a course in Japanese, and suddenly I notice Japanese words and characters around me. Case in point: the types of sushi in my supermarket. It helps you to decide which one to buy if you know that "ichiban" means "number one" and "sanban" means "number three". (Don't ask me where #2 went.)
