Jumping far?
In the Netherlands an official sport is "Fielrjeppen" or "Polstokverspringen". The intention is to jump as far as you can, with a pole across the water. of course you don't always make it to the other side.
It's only being done in the country. Originally farmers used it to get across all the small water which you can find in the countrysides of the Netherlands.
