Straw wrapper rose
Now this is a cute rose made of a straw wrapper. I immediately unfolded it to see how it was done. Couldn't put it back together of course, so I googled it. The closest instruction I could find was this video with an annoying little helper 'assisting' her mother. They use a crepe streamer but it should work with a straw wrapper too.

Or check out this video. I pulled too hard so the wrapper broke, but with a little bit of imagination I could recognize a tiny rose in the wrinkled wrapper.
