Birds for lunch
Having lunch on the terrace of Nepenthe can be very exciting. You might run the risk of Stellar's Jays eyeballing your french fries or even diving in your basket to get one of the fries.
After our table was bussed, one Stellar's Jay kept coming back. Not for fries, but for the little sugar bags still on the table. It had a distinct preference for Splenda.
