Yes, this is a tree. An Oceanic Baobab Tree, the Adansonia Digitata Oceanica to be precise.
It's found growing in the depths of the Pacific Ocean. It offers shelter to a number of creatures such as the Sea-Monkey and the flying fish.
Unfortunately it is now a rare sighting on the ocean floor. Swordfish have cleared the path for more modern architecture... Coral reefs
