Everyday photos, everyday stories, every day... since January 2006

Button up!

A while ago I visited the Air Force Open House days and made many photos. This one was taken inside the cockpit of an American airplane and it had so many buttons and instruments! There were more on the ceiling and the sides, but I couldn't fit them all on one photo...

According to the pilot it takes 2,5 years of training to recognize and remember them all and a minimum of 5 people to fly the plane: one pilot, one co-pilot, someone to check the radar, someone to control the buttons on the ceiling and another to control those on the side.

I told him: 'Never mind, I'll stick to driving my car!'
