Poppy close-up
It is not secret that I have a thing for poppies. I just love that warm, bright red color of this wild flower.
This weekend we got a painting of poppies. Just to make sure that even when the poppies outside are gone, I can still enjoy them inside. And it's actually about the only way to keep poppies fresh inside, because -as soon as you pick them- they wither at a rapid rate.
Since I haven't had time to take a good picture of the painting yet, you'll have to make do with a photo of one. Ah come on, this is pretty too. Right?
