Orange cake

On Queen's Day we celebrate the birthday of the former Queen Juliana. And when you're having a birthday, you eat cake! This typical Dutch cake is called 'Tompouce'. You eat this cake with your fingers and they get really sticky. The topping is usually pink, but when we celebrate the Queen's birthday they make the topping orange. I eat this cake on Queen's Day. Just like the rest of Holland.
