Dutch savanna
You don't have to go to Africa of another sunny continent to find spots like this one. These are the 'Soesterduinen' (sand dunes) in the center of the Netherlands. A very nice spot, where you can walk, make bike trips, fly kites and so on. It's really worth visiting.
